VANCE VETTER
OWNER | BUILDER
Vance has established a solid reputation for having the utmost integrity and uncompromising professionalism in the building industry. Whatever the project, Vance prides himself on consistently delivering both superiority and value. He is involved throughout the project lifecycle with clients, designers and trade professionals alike to monitor progress, implement creative solutions, and ensure a best-in-class team that transforms a client’s vision into a successful finished project.
Vance is known for his strong skill of understanding his clients’ vision and takes pride in turning it into a reality for them. He loves to think outside the box and never rules out an idea. He also understands the considerable trust and responsibility that every client places in him when building a home and considers it a true privilege when chosen to be part of the process.
Vance was born in raised in Bismarck. After earning a degree in Carpentry in 1991, he then entered the building industry as a lead carpenter, project manager, and superintendent of building. In 1996, Vance decided to venture out on his own to launch a lifelong dream; Vance Vetter Homes was then established.
He has served as president and board member for the Bismarck/Mandan Home Builders Association and also on the board of the North Dakota State Home Builders Association. Vance is also a Certified Green Professional Builder (CGP). This designation is reserved for those in the building industry who not only have made a commitment to sustainable strategies, but also have the learned skills to make it happen. Courses in CGP teach methods to incorporate green building principles in the home using cost-effective, innovative options.
Vance resides with his wife, Toni, and their two children. In his free time he enjoys faith functions, camping, spending time with family, and snowmobiling.
TONI VETTER
SALES MANAGER
Toni joined Vance Vetter Homes in 2015 and looks forward to playing a role in the business for many years to come with her husband, Vance. Toni’s passion for the process lies in her belief that a successful company should be built on a foundation of strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Toni is also a Realtor with Century 21 Morrison Realty. One of her biggest joys is assisting customers with the home buying or selling process.
Toni is a native of Mandan. In addition to her work at Vance Vetter Homes, she enjoys camping, being outdoors, and especially antiquing/junking. She also loves being “mom” to two kids.
SARA BLOTTER
DRAFTER | DESIGNER
Good design isn’t just what it looks like or feels like, it’s how it works. This simple principle is one that is most decidedly important to our drafter and designer, Sara Blotter. Since the winter of 2010, she’s been working with our clients from the beginning planning phases through the end to the finishing touches. Sara works closely with our clients to ensure the vision and goals they set for their new home in the beginning are the reality they live with in the future. She believes building your home can and should be an enjoyable experience and tailors the process to fit the individual needs of each homeowner.
Sara is a native of Bismarck and currently resides on the family farm in Benedict. Sara earned her bachelor's degree in Interior Design from NDSU in 2007.
In addition to her work at Vance Vetter Homes, she spends most of her free time with her husband Ryan, and their four children camping or doing projects around the home.
DARREN BUFFINGTON
PROJECT MANAGER
Darren recently joined the Vance Vetter Homes team as a Project Manager, ensuring that projects are on track and on budget. Born and raised in North Dakota, Darren served our country in the Marine Corps from 1986 to 1993. After that, he worked in the materials supply industry until 2013, when he began his career in Project Management and Estimating.
Outside of work, you can find Darren with his wife and four kids, enjoying the outdoors, fishing, riding motorcycle, and traveling.
JENNIFER WINGERT
OFFICE MANAGER
Jennifer joined the team in 2019. After living in California her entire life, she decided to make a change and move to North Dakota. At Vance Vetter Homes, she manages the bills and oversees the daily finances of our operation, as well as working closely with subcontractors and suppliers. Beyond this, she also provides regular updates to clients on their projects and helps keep the construction schedule on track.
In her spare time, Jenn is the National President of Elite Camaro Family car club.
