He started by working for others, learning every detail involved in home building. But, Vance craved direct interaction with the people for whom he was creating homes. He felt compelled to get to know the owners, converse with them, and help them build the living space of their dreams. So, in 1995, Vance launched his own custom home building business. He has a gift for building relationships, not just homes, and feels this is the heart of the building process.
